Coburg’s future at stake at November 13 council meeting

[By Sue Bolton] The C123 planning amendment for central Coburg will be voted on at the November Council meeting at Glenroy. Save Coburg is encouraging everyone who wants to preserve the character of Coburg and doesn’t want it to become a mini-CBD to come to the council meeting.

Council agendas are put on the council website on the Wednesday before the council meeting. The details of the council meeting are: Wednesday, November 13, 7 pm at the Glenroy Senior Citizens Centre, 11 Cromwell Street (off Glenroy Road), Glenroy. If you are catching public transport, you can catch the #513 bus from Bell St, Coburg to Glenroy station and then walk up Glenroy Road or you can catch a train on the Craigieburn line to Glenroy Station and then walk up Glenroy Road.

Save Coburg is organising a meeting to discuss the next stage of the campaign against the C123 planning amendment.  The details of the meeting are: Sunday, October 20, 2pm at the big table outside Coburg Library.
